stables. The old timbers have been retained and the atmosphere
is intimate and relaxing.A feature of
the restaurant is the courtyard dining
area, a little enclave in a garden setting. In summertime
a classical guitarist plays in this area on sunny Sundays. Local
artists also exhibit their work at the restaurant. In winter the open fire warms the atmosphere.

The food is
predominantly Mediterranean in influence, but
with a strong New Zealand slant. All the food is made in
the restaurant kitchen, right down to the herb butters,

The menu features popular platters, seafood, venison, soups, vegetarian dishes and our feature winery pies. The menu changes frequently to match the seasons. Delicious desserts round your dining. There is also an all-day breakfast menu. Of course the food is designed to compliment the range of wines. |
The restaurant closes
at 5pm, however for groups of 20 or more a comprehensive
evening a la carte menu is also available.
Christmas functions, birthday
parties, weddings and indeed any celebration is catered for. The
kitchen will work to whatever the requirements. |
